Hi, I’m Narayani and I’m a stationery Junkie.

To everyone’s surprise, I did not pursue arts in college. I followed the age old Tambrahm tradition of becoming a Chartered Accountant. But through that tiring journey I realised my passion was in design ( you can now guess what notes I used to take down during classes :p )
After years of being in Banking, I realised that’s not what I saw myself doing 5 years down the line ( the age old question right? Haha )
Giving up on my right brain to save my life, and my left brain took charge, and dabbed into the artistic field. After learning as much as I could, I worked as a graphic designer for a few years and absorbed all that was available.
I have always been the movies > books type of girl.  I don’t have the patience to read a book, except comics (obviously, duhh). After years of hardwork, and innumerable tries and ugly versions, Version no #8741876 turned out to be my comic character. I then started to illustrate the common struggles that people go through in a comical way ( You can check them out on Instagram)
Lockdown 2021 was a lot of things for all of us. But it was one of the best things as well for me, as that’s when "That Artsy Brown Girl" was born. That Artsy Brown Girl gives me the opportunity and the avenues to turn my designs and ideas into reality! Just like filter coffee, I envision my products will give the users an extra boost of motivation and a hint of comfort when they are used. I hope you’ll love all of them!
